Privacy at a Glance

Movement Break was designed with privacy in mind. We do not require an account, collect personal health information, or sell your personal information. Your reminder schedule and daily progress are stored locally on your device.

We believe your movement habits belong to you. Our goal is to help you build healthier routines—not to collect your personal information.

Information Stored on Your Device

Movement Break stores certain information locally so the app can function, including:

• Reminder schedule and selected reminder days
• Start and end times
• Reminder interval
• Daily movement goal
• Completed movement breaks
• Notification preferences
• Onboarding completion status

This information is not transmitted to Movement Break.

Information We Do Not Collect

Movement Break does not require a user account and does not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, contacts, health records, heart rate, step count, fitness-tracker data, camera data, microphone data, or precise GPS location.

Advertising

Movement Break may display non-personalized banner advertisements through Google AdMob. Non-personalized ads are not based on your past behavior for ad targeting.

Google and participating advertising partners may still process limited technical information, such as device or mobile advertising identifiers where permitted, IP-derived or coarse location information, app/device information, and related signals for purposes such as ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, consent management, and aggregated reporting.

Where required by law, Movement Break uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present privacy choices. Users may be able to change or withdraw those choices through privacy controls made available in the app.

Video Content

Movement Break streams movement videos using YouTube services. When you view embedded YouTube content, Google or YouTube may receive technical information associated with use of their services. Your use of YouTube is also subject to Google's privacy policy and YouTube's terms.

Notifications

Movement Break requests notification permission so it can deliver the reminders you schedule. Reminder preferences are stored locally on your device.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

Movement Break version 1.0 does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.

Data Storage and Deletion

Your Movement Break settings and daily progress are stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, your operating system may remove this local information.

Data Sharing

Movement Break does not sell or rent personal information. Third-party services used by the app, including Google AdMob and YouTube, may process information under their own privacy policies as described above.

Children's Privacy

Movement Break is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. Movement Break does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Movement Break changes. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date shown at the top of this page.
